Mike was born in Columbus, Ohio and grew
up in Canal Fulton before moving with his family to the Chicago
and Cincinnati areas. He graduated from William Mason High
School in 1996 and attended the University of Cincinnati
where he earned a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice in
2000. Mike also earned a Masters of Science degree in Criminal
Justice in 2001 from Eastern Kentucky University, finishing
the two year program in just one year. One month after receiving
his Masters degree, Mike enrolled in The University of Akron
School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor in 2004.
Prior to joining our firm Mike worked as in house counsel
for Patent Health, LLC in North Canton, Ohio and operated
his own private practice from 2005 until 2007. His primary
areas of practice include criminal and civil litigation,
domestic relations law and juvenile law. Michael is a member
of the Ohio and Stark County Bar Associations.
While not hard at work Mike can be found fishing, hunting
or relaxing with his wife Sarah and their two sons at their
cabin at Leesville Lake. Mike also coaches his son’s
soccer team and is a Cub Scout Webelos leader.
