Alan is a native New Englander having been born and raised in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Prior to settling in Northeast Ohio, he had resided in Boston’s historic northshore and in New York City. Attending Quinnipiac College (now University) in Hamden, Connecticut on a cross-country scholarship, Alan graduated in 1994 earning a Bachelor’s degree in History. He also spent two years studying Theology at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary located in Hamilton, Mass. In 2004, Alan graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law fulfilling a life long dream of receiving his Juris Doctor and embarking on a career of dedicated legal service.

Prior to joining the firm, Alan served as an associate attorney with the Law Office of Demetrios K. Stratis, LLC located in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. While practicing in New Jersey, he assisted Alliance Defense Fund affiliated counsel on numerous constitutional legal matters involving the interrelation between an individual’s First Amendment freedoms of speech and religion. His primary areas of practice will include (but not limited to) personal injury, civil litigation, and Social Security disability. Alan is a member of the Ohio State, Akron and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations. In addition to Ohio, Alan is also licensed to practice law in New Jersey and in the Federal District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Alan resides in Brecksville with his wife and two sons. He enjoys exploring the Metroparks with his children, traveling, reading, playing music and spending time with family and friends. Alan also serves a guitarist on the worship arts team at Cuyahoga Valley Church in Broadview Heights.
